Shattering Inequities Book Study:

We will review at our March 24 Staff Meeting at 1 pm
Chapter 5 and 6

Does our site/department currently engage in practices that unintentionally perpetuate inequitable practices? If so, how?
Is this a response to prioritizing adult interest, employees or community? What are the unintended consequences of this practice? What practices can you put in place to challenge these policies and practices?

Identify an RSP student or a struggling student, receiving reading support. Look at the current reading fluency goal. Write an Accelerated Goal (AG) using grade level achievement expectations. Identify the student's disability, or difficulty, and develop a plan of action using the driving question: What conditions would be necessary for the student to reach grade level within two years?
