Great Things From the Week

Awesome first week back with kids two days a week.

Students are doing a great job with 6 feet and face coverings.

CDC has changed classroom guidelines to 3 feet. More information to come hopefully soon.

Testing alternative to CASSPP seems very likely. District is exploring some options. At this time we are on CASSPP hold.

ELPAC almost done!!! Thank you to Gina, Sanci, Maria, Roe, Reanna, and Shanda for this major feat.

Thank you teachers for your hard work to get kid in seats and learning.

Thank you Special Education for having

REMINDER

Please remember that we need to monitor student physical activity so that students can keep their mask on. We have sent lots of students home this week due to elevated temperature, sore throats and cough while out at PE. PLEASE try to keep activity low enough that students are not struggling with breathing in their mask.

Lunch service will no longer be at Harrison, the closest location is Arlington High School and it is changing to Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

No breakfast at school site - It will be sent home at the end of their day in attendance.

Chapter 7 and 8

Equity leaders understand that all systems are perfectly built to get the results they are getting. We must, therefore, “take a critical look at our behaviors; at who is valued in our systems; at decisions we make about structures, policies, and practices; and at the underlying belief systems to determine if anything within our sphere of influence might be a help or hindrance to equity and academic achievement for all students.” (p.131)
